Website 2.0 and The Bookery Nook

Hey everyone,
Aaron and I have just finished up a complete redesign to our website, www.thewildasins.com. After rolling with our first design, we just weren't completely satisfied with the way everything was displayed. We have quite a few services that we offer and our first design did not address them all. It wasn't as easy to navigate as we hoped for. Well, the new website design has completely addressed all of those issues and more! It's super slick, streamlined, and really cool looking.

From here, it is really easy to see our wedding and lifestyle photography information, our commercial photography gallery, our graphic design and social expressions portfolios, meet our cats, and more! The best part about the whole redesign is that our site is now completely viewable on all mobile devices. So, check it out and let us know what you think ~

In other news, our Live Beautifully body products have a brick and mortar home in Denver, Colorado! We are incredibly proud to announce that you can visit The Bookery Nook at 4280 Tennyson Street. The Nook is a really lovely book store, artisan gift shop, and yummy ice cream parlor. We have a nice selection of lip balms, perfumes, lotions, and colognes there to sample if you're in the area!

Right now, we're using some cool antique crates that are perfectly segmented for our products. Aaron's going to rebuild similar displays using plain, cleaner wood to replace these and to use in other stores moving forward.

Live Beautifully Body Product Launch

Hi everyone! It's been way too long since our last post - but we have a good reason, promise :)
We have been working away on a new line of body products called "Live Beautifully". After learning the craft, cultivating scents and developing each product's own visual personality, then shooting them, then getting the prices and packaging and store figured out, we're ready to launch!

Live Beautifully body products are handcrafted with natural skin conditioning ingredients and the finest essential oils. We use a special blend of shea, cocoa, and mango butters with a secret mixture of sweet almond, apricot kernel, coconut, grapeseed, and macadamia nut oils. The end result is a lovely product that actually helps heal and rejuvenate your skin, leaving you smelling wonderful and just feeling really good about yourself. Products include lip balm, solid perfume, and solid lotion bars.

Each scent has its own unique vibe and personality. We offer scents for everyone, guys and gals alike. Each of our body products comes to you beautifully packaged. All of our scents can also be purchased in gift sets which feature one of each product in that scent line.

Needless to say, we are beyond proud of this line. I have used a LOT of different lotions and balms and have never found anything that heals my skin and lips quite like these do. We are dead smack in the middle of a Colorado winter (albeit a mild one, luckily!) and neither of us have chapped lips or dry winter hands :)

So far, there are 13 gorgeously smelling scents in the line. Underneath each image are links to all of the products in our etsy store.

New Items in our Etsy Shop

Hey everyone,
We've just added some new items to our etsy shop! It's been a little while since we could concentrate on our fine art pieces. We've had some of these gems tucked away for too long and are so excited they're finished.

We dissolved our old etsy shop, and will be in the process of moving some of our old favorites to the new store. A Session with Jamie & Amanda

Hi everyone,
We just finished up a session we did with our friends, Jamie and Amanda, from Cleveland. They've been married for a few years and never got the chance to do a cute engagement session before their wedding. So, we did an amazing location shoot with them by the lake, complete with parasols, sparklers, and a candlelit walk by the water. So much fun! These guys are such a cute couple and two of the most genuinely nice people you will ever meet. :)

 

These are some of our favorites yet, thanks again Jamie & Amanda! You guys are fantastic :)

Aaron and I will be hunkering down the next week or two, working on our website and new etsy shop. Details on all to come soon!
